Experts and Reviewers

Roles we staff, not invented people

These are policy roles. Status stays unfilled until a real person is verified and consents to publication.

• Editorial lead - evidence standards for commercial work and final say when commercial pressure conflicts with evidence.
• Product researcher - source registers from primary sources, access dates, and verified plan names and prices.
• Hands-on tester - signed test procedures only when a test record exists. Does not invent testing hours or detection percentages.
• Corrections owner - triages sourced challenges to published claims and notes material purchase-affecting fixes.
• Accessibility reviewer - tracks keyboard, contrast and assistive-technology barriers. Does not assert WCAG certification without an audit record.
• Security contact - vulnerability reports at security@securitycheckli.st (see Security disclosure). Separate from editorial mail at intel@securitycheckli.st.

Credential policy

• No headshots, job titles, years of experience or certifications appear until confirmed with primary sources and permission to publish.
• Guest contributors must be disclosed when used. Vendor-affiliated voices are labeled when relevant.
• AI-assisted drafts are never published as expert opinion.
• Mock reviewer names from design renderings are never copied into production.
• Overall product scores are not assigned merely because a named reviewer is later attached.

Independence

• Affiliate payout cannot determine who is listed as an expert or what they recommend.
• Vendor sponsorship does not buy a bio, a score or a best-of slot.
• Editorial roles stay separate from commercial partnership outreach.

Where substance lives today

Until named profiles exist, process substance lives on Methodology, How we test and the editorial policy. Product pages cite sources, free-first remedies and who-should-not-buy language without borrowing invented authority.

Interactive tools do not invent tester bylines. Tool results explain privacy and free-first order without implying a hidden expert panel.
